Patient Privacy
The Teen Health Center, Inc. carefully protects your private health information. Only employees who are directly involved in patient care and billing are allowed access to patient files. For more information, please read our Notice of Privacy Practices (Spanish).
Adolescent patients say that confidentiality is one of the most important factors in their healthcare. Studies have shown that a lack of confidential care does not delay or discourage adolescents from engaging in high-risk behavior, but rather makes them more likely to engage in risky behaviors and report psychological stress.
One of Teen Health Center's goals is to emphasize how youth-friendly our services are. We aim to continually improve how we interact with our young people and help them feel welcome and certain that their privacy is protected.
